The grounds and gardens to the Beaulieu visitor attraction are now open and visitors are invited to explore our outdoor spaces, including our adventure play area, Little Beaulieu. To help you plan your visit, we've compiled a list of frequently asked questions for your assistance.

Who can visit?
In accordance with the Government guidance within the Roadmap out of lockdown, from 29 March outdoor gatherings of either 6 people or 2 households will be allowed.
Do I need to book again if I already have an unused attraction admission ticket?
Yes, we require all visitors to pre-book their visit in order to ensure the site does not become overcrowded. As an existing ticket holder, you should have received an email from us explaining the procedure for booking your visit using your valid booking reference. If you haven't, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and booking reference.
We have a Gift Aid pass from our previous visit, can we use that?
The Gift Aid scheme is related to the National Motor Museum Trust charity, which means it is only valid for the National Motor Museum element of the attraction which remains closed until 17 May. If you wish to visit our grounds and gardens before we fully reopen, you will need to purchase a grounds and gardens ticket. We will communicate further details of how to use the Gift Aid pass in early May as we prepare to reopen the National Motor Museum.
I have a complimentary ticket for the Beaulieu attraction, can I now use that?
All complimentary tickets with an expiry date of 31 March 2020 were extended to the end of July 2020 to allow them to be used. We can therefore confirm that all of these tickets have now expired.
Can I use my Historic House Association membership discount?
The Historic House Association membership is not valid with our Grounds and Gardens tickets. Members will be able to get the normal 20% discount off the on-the-day admission when we fully reopen in May.
Can I use my Caravan & Motorhome Club discount?
The Caravan & Motorhome Club membership discount is not valid on our Grounds and Gardens tickets. The discount scheme will resume when we are able to fully reopen in May.
What about other discounts or complimentary entry schemes?
From 17 May we will be ready to welcome members from the following discounted or complimentary entry schemes, the Museum Association, Blue Peter Badge, the British Motorcycle Charitable Trust and the Blue Light Card.
I am a member of Beaulieu 100 or a Friend of the National Motor Museum Trust. How do I book tickets?
If you are a member of the Beaulieu 100 or a Friend of the National Motor Museum Trust, you will still be required to pre-book tickets here. Once you have selected your arrival date, please select your type of membership from the drop-down menu.
How will the car parks operate?
Car parking is included in your admission ticket and we are confident that with a limited number of visitors on-site each day, we will have ample car parking space to allow visitors to park safely. We ask you to park sensibly allowing a safe distance between you and the neighbouring car, and that if parking next to a car arriving or departing at the same time, that you give each other time and space.
Can I change the date of my visit?
Please carefully consider and select the date and time of your visit before booking as in line with our terms and conditions tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged for a different date once booked. Is the new adventure play area, Little Beaulieu open?
Yes, Little Beaulieu will also reopen from the 29 March. We will manage capacity in the play area to ensure it doesn't become too crowded, and have put in place measures to help each other stay safe whilst enjoying Little Beaulieu. Find out more here.
When will your indoor spaces reopen?
Indoor spaces at Beaulieu including the National Motor Museum, World of Top Gear and Palace House will fully reopen from Monday 17 May, subject to Government confirmation of the Step 3 date.
Are visitors required to wear face-coverings during a visit?
Visitors will be required to wear a face-covering when entering our Visitor Reception on arrival and departure, and if they wish to enter the Brabazon Restaurant for takeaway food and drink. You will also be required to wear a face-covering when using our toilets.
Are the toilet facilities open?
We have two sets of toilets open for visitors, one beneath the Brabazon Restaurant and the other near to the Abbey Domus. The facilities will be monitored and cleaned regularly for your safety. Please use the hand sanitising stations before entering, wash your hands for a full 20 seconds, and sanitise again upon leaving.
Will we be able to buy food and drink onsite?
We are delighted to let you know that those visiting will be able to purchase takeaway food and drinks from the Brabazon Restaurant & Café. Outdoor seating is also available.
Can we bring our own picnic?
You are very welcome to bring your own picnic to enjoy during your visit. There will be areas marked out for picnicking on the site map. A number of picnic benches will be dotted around at safe distances for your use, or you can bring a picnic blanket and find a spot to relax. We have also opened our beautiful Parkland to give you much more space. We ask that you do not use any form of BBQ and dispose of your rubbish in a bin. Picnics cannot be consumed in the outdoor seated areas of the Brabazon Restaurant.
What other safety and hygiene measures will you be taking to make me feel safe on my visit?

What if I become worried onsite by seeing others not adhering to the rules?
We will have members of staff out and about on-site, but you can call a supervisor at any point on 01590 614646.
If I become unwell before my visit what should I do?
Please do not visit if you feel unwell with any symptoms of COVID-19 or have come into contact with anyone who may have symptoms. If this is the case and you have paid for your ticket, we will refund your purchase and hope to see you when well again. If this is the case, please email email@example.com.
