Embark on a journey of wonder as, for the first time, Beaulieu’s Mill Pond Walk becomes home to an all-new Fairy and Dragon willow sculpture trail!
From 18th May to 30th June, the tranquil meandering path of the Mill Pond Walk will be transformed as woven willow sculptures line the walkway to delight visitors of all ages with its magical blend of fantasy and artistry. Pick up a free map when you arrive at Visitor Reception which will lead you around the trail and show you where a fairy or woodland creature has recently been spotted!
Willow sculptures
There will be a selection of intricately woven willow sculptures along the trail of the Mill Pond walk, so make sure you keep a good look out for wonderful woodland foxes, owls, squirrels, and deer as well as magical unicorns, of course fairies and dragons, and even mischievous boggarts peeking out from behind the foliage.
Enchanted activity book
Younger visitors will be able to enjoy completing an ‘Enchanted Activity Book’ available to purchase upon arrival at Beaulieu. Inside are fun activities to complete from drawing to word searches and spot the difference, and at the end of the trail don’t forget to tie a ribbon to the magical wishing tree and make a special wish!
Grounds and gardens
Spring is the perfect time to lose yourself around Beaulieu’s serene grounds and gardens. Wander through the Wilderness Garden which perfectly complements the beauty of Palace House, then find your way to the Victorian Flower Garden crammed full of colourful flowers and sweet-smelling roses. Don’t forget, dogs are welcome in our grounds and gardens too!
May half-term
This exciting new enchanting trail will be a highlight of the May half-term break that you won’t want to miss! There has never been a better time to enjoy everything the Beaulieu attraction has to offer with the whole family, including all the extra half-term activities from 25th May – 2nd June!
