With a stately home, a world famous motor museum and a 13th century abbey surrounded by picturesque gardens, there are over 800 years of heritage to be seen at this well established and group friendly venue.

The Brabazon restaurant offers advanced booking deals for groups, and our well stocked gift shops will ensure you leave with the perfect souvenir.

Ideal for excursions from Dorset and Hampshire or day trips from further afield, this great New Forest attraction offers a generous discount for groups of 15+, a range of guided tours, a dedicated group admission desk, ample free coach parking, and a comfortable rest room for coach drivers.

A maid offers hot fruit punch to visitors at Palace House Soirees

On weekdays in November and December be greeted with a glass of homemade fruit punch and you will be entertained by house staff with traditional songs around the piano. (Must be booked 3 weeks in advance).


Beaulieu Abbey Christmas Lunch

Join us for a sumptuous two-course Christmas meal in the magical surroundings of the Beaulieu Abbey Domus. View the menu.

The Grand Tour

An in-depth tour taking in the buildings and history of Beaulieu; the Abbey founded in 1204 and Palace House, the intimate family home of the Montagus. History, romance, fact, anecdote, rare artefacts and picturesque buildings combine to inform and enlighten those with a feeling for the romance of times past. (Approx. 2hrs)

Palace House

Find out about life above and below stairs in the ancestral home of the Montagu family. Learn of its history; from its monastic origins to the present day, and the lives of past generations who have lived and worked here. See exquisite paintings, antique furniture and stunning architecture as you explore a fine example of a Victorian styled country house, now including the late Edward, Lord Montagu's library opened to the public in 2016. The Abbey Tour

Beaulieu Abbey

Discover what life was like in the Cistercian Order at Beaulieu Abbey as the monks and lay brothers went about their daily tasks. Find out why the Abbey was founded in the New Forest, how it was built and its importance to the local community for providing food, clothing, sanctuary and even health care. (Approx. 1hr)

Motoring History Tour

Historic vehicles on display in A Chequered History

The ultimate tour for those wishing to get to grips with the story of motoring on the roads and circuits of Britain. Hear the stories of motoring pioneers, motor sport champions and land speed record breakers. Enter a garage from the 1930s and wander through a period street scene before exploring our new displays. (Approx. 1hr)

Driving change

In new exhibition Driving Change we examine the stories behind the innovations and technologies that gave rise to the essential features we take for granted in today's vehicles. (Must be booked 4 weeks in advance. Approx. 1hr)


Formula One vehicles in A Chequered History

Tour through motor racing history, from its inception in the early 1900s, with vehicles such as the iconic 1903 ‘Gordon Bennett’ Napier, through to Graham Hill’s Lotus 49 and more recent F1 cars. (Must be booked 4 weeks in advance. Approx. 1hr)


Display in The Motorcycle Story

From the early days of motor sport to 1960’s youth culture, immerse yourself in a journey through over 100 years of motorcycling history, exploring the human quest for freedom, individuality and the desire to win. (Must be booked 4 weeks in advance. Approx. 1hr)


Golden Arrow on display in For Britain & For The Hell Of It

Experience the triumph of British land speed record attempts as we tell a story of British pluck, technological mastery and national pride, in an inspiring tribute to the pioneers of speed. (Must be booked 4 weeks in advance. Approx. 1hr)


The cook at work in Palace House Kitchen

Meet the Kitchen Maid and hear stories of long hours and hard work in the kitchens of Palace House, from where the organisation of the Victorian household revolved. (Must be booked 4 weeks in advance. Approx. 1hr)


Victorian Gardener

Available only during the summer months, accompany our Victorian Gardener to find out how the Victorian gardens once fed the family and staff living in Palace House. (Maturity of plants subject to seasonal variation. Approx. 1hr)


Beaulieu Vineyard

Grapes have been grown at Beaulieu since medieval times. Between April and October, take a guided tour of the vineyard and find out how the vines are grown, before sampling the wine they produce. (Must be booked 3 months in advance. No toilet facilities. Approx. 45 mins)

Beaulieu is much more than a motor museum – we are also home to Palace House, Grounds & Gardens, Beaulieu Abbey and the Secret Army Exhibition. Plus, your ticket includes unlimited rides on the Monorail and Veteran Bus.
