The annual Christmas Fair, held to raise funds to help the work of the Countryside Education Trust, takes place at Palace House, Beaulieu, from 10am to 2.30pm on Friday 16th November.
The Countryside Educational Trust is a charity offering environmental educational programmes for the local and wider community for both residential and day visits. Lady Montagu who heads the Fund-Raising Committee for the Trust said: “As well as being a fun event and a good opportunity to start buying Christmas presents, everyone who comes to the Christmas Fair is contributing to the vital work performed by this charity, benefitting both the local community and inner city schools across the country.”
The Fair is just the place to buy Christmas presents and stocking fillers and gifts that are just that little bit different. There is a huge variety of stalls again this year including Festive Foods, Antiques, Jewellery, Handbags, Gifts for Garden & Home, Plants, Bottles, Cakes & Preserves.
Enjoy the refreshments on offer in the Palace Café where you can relax, meet friends and enjoy morning coffee, scrummy snack and tasty lunches with a glass of wine. Once again there are some fabulous prizes to win in the Grand Draw.
Entry to the CET Christmas Fair is £3 per person. Free car parking is available in Church Meadow, in front of the Abbey church.
