Swedish Takeover at Beaulieu

Volvo Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire would like to invite all Swedish vehicle owners and enthusiasts to join them for their annual Swedish Takeover at Beaulieu on Saturday 21st September 2024.

Volvo Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire are back for a 4th year at Beaulieu. All Swedish vehicles are welcome, old and new, so join the club for the annual Beaulieu Swedish Takeover – let’s make it the best Swedish Takeover yet!

Entry with your Swedish vehicle is from 10am – 2pm. Please make sure you have your ticket printed, ready to be scanned on arrival.

Please do not arrive early, as no facilities will be open prior to 10am.

The Brabazon Restaurant will be open from 10am for bacon rolls, cakes, teas and coffee.

Vehicles cannot leave and re-enter the grounds for the rally without a further fee being paid to cover the occupants.


If you wish to park up alongside your friends, you must all arrive together with individual e-tickets as we are unable to reserve adjacent spaces for later arrivals.

Only 1 e-ticket is produced per order. If you are being joined by friends in separate vehicles, please ensure you make separate orders.

Just visiting?

Beaulieu visitors are welcome to see the Swedish Takeover display as part of their general admission ticket.


Participant prices are only valid if arriving in a Swedish vehicle and taking part in the event. They are not valid for those arriving on foot.

Standard admission fee applies for all other visitors. The best time to view the event is between 11am and 2pm.

Children under 5 require a ticket, this can be booked online free of charge.

Participant and visitor tickets will include entrance to the rest of the Beaulieu attraction, including the National Motor Museum, Palace House, Little Beaulieu, World of Top Gear, Beaulieu Abbey and its grounds and gardens.

Complimentary carer tickets are available for participants if required, please phone the Events team on 01590 614614 to purchase participant tickets over the phone where we can include a carer ticket, or complete your order online for your participant tickets and email us on events@beaulieu.co.uk with your booking reference and we can add a carer onto your booking for you. Proof of eligibility is required in conjunction with all carer tickets, such as Compass Cards, PIP Letters or Blue Badges.


We are very lucky to be located in the heart of the New Forest however this does offer up some unique hazards on the roads.

Please drive carefully and responsibly when attending our events and be aware of free-roaming animals and cyclists on the roads. Due to the close proximity of our neighbours, please be respectful when entering and leaving the event.

As well as being an opportunity to view an array of Swedish vehicles, there is also the opportunity to enjoy all that Beaulieu has to offer. Your admission ticket includes entry to all the Beaulieu attractions, including The National Motor Museum, World of Top Gear, Little Beaulieu, Palace House, Beaulieu Abbey and more.
