The Custom and American Show returned on Father’s Day Sunday 16th June 2024 with hundreds of cool American motors, colourful custom cars and bikes, live music and hip entertainment.
Held in association with the Solent Renegades club, and celebrating the truly individual creations of the motoring world, the Custom and American Show was a summer day out that was too good to be missed.
This family friendly event was the perfect day out for Father’s Day. As well as all the incredible vehicles, visitors enjoyed great live entertainment and activities, a fairground, free face painting and glitter tattoos for all the family and more!
Amazing vehicles
Showgoers enjoyed a stunning display of American motors at the heart of the show. From classic Camaros to modern Mustangs, did you spot your dream car? With jaw-dropping custom cars, bikes and trikes, and hot rods, taking their places in the diverse line-up.
CLASSIC AMERICAN CAR OF THE YEAR
Classic American magazine returned to the show to hold one of the heats for its Car of the Year competition, with unmodified American cars of any era invited to compete.
GREAT ENTERTAINMENT
As always, there was great live music at the show! This year, we were joined by vintage close harmony trio The Bluebirds, Craig Jefferson’s Elvis tribute act and country/folk infused band Route 66.
Father’s Day show prize draw
A special Father’s Day Prize Draw took place with the winner taking home a bundle of great Beaulieu prizes!
Andy Saunders
Custom car builder and Custom and American Show ambassador, Andy Saunders, returned with two of his mind-blowing creations, Deja and Sundancer. He also presented ‘The Andy Saunders Award’ to the most imaginative custom car!
FEAture cars
Did you see the special feature cars including the American trucks and American cop cars by the South Coast Cop Cars? The Allard Dragster was also on display in the Arena and was started up between 12 – 12.30 pm.
Fairground & rodeo bull
New for 2024, visitors tested their rodeo skills on our Rodeo Bull and took to new heights with a trip on the Ferris Wheel. Smaller children’s amusements were also available.
FILM and TV CARS
We were excited to display some famous cars you may recognise from popular films including the iconic Bumblebee Car, a striking yellow Chevrolet Camaro featured in the Transformers movie franchise, the infamous Ecto-1 Cadillac from Ghostbusters and the 1993 Jeep Wrangler from Jurassic Park, the Mystery Machine from Scooby Doo, the 1963 Volkswagen Beetle ‘Herbie’ and the 1982 Pontiac Trans Am ‘Kitt’ from Knight Rider.

Participant prices are only valid if arriving in a qualifying vehicle and taking part in the event. They are not valid for those arriving on foot.
Standard admission fee applies for all other visitors.
Cars cannot leave and re-enter the grounds for the event without a further fee being paid to cover all occupants.

Complimentary carer tickets are available for participants if required, please phone the Events team on 01590 614614 to purchase participant tickets over the phone where we can include a carer ticket, or complete your order online for your participant tickets and email us on events@beaulieu.co.uk with your booking reference and we can add a carer onto your booking for you. Proof of eligibility is required in conjunction with all carer tickets, such as Compass Cards, PIP Letters or Blue Badges.
