Join us for an evening lecture on Friday 5th April to hear the fascinating experiences of acclaimed author and historian Karl Ludvigsen.
Some readers will remember that our speaker this evening, Karl Ludvigsen, was last at Beaulieu for a Friends’ Evening in 2015 when he gave a talk on Colin Chapman. This time he is the ‘star’.
An acclaimed author of books and articles on cars and drivers, his impressive range of titles includes the history of Porsche, Mercedes-Benz racing, the VW Beetle and Chevrolet Corvette, as well as a series of books on racing drivers such as Sir Stirling Moss, Sir Jackie Stewart and Juan Manuel Fangio. His most recent prize-winning offering is dedicated to automotive engineer Reid Railton. Karl has held top level positions with GM, Fiat and Ford and is highly regarded globally in the motor industry. Hear his fascinating stories on his experiences in the world of cars and racing.
INFORMATION & Timings
The evening will commence at 7:30 pm in the Lecture Theatre of the National Motor Museum’s Collections Centre and finish at around 10:00 pm. A pay bar will be available in the Collections Centre for the purchase of beers, wines and soft drinks.
