Step through time this February half-term and get hands-on with historical activities at Beaulieu between the 14 – 22 February!
Can you conquer the Beaulieu Card Challenge? Meet living history characters as you explore the attraction, and dive into their hands-on activities to earn your exclusive collectible cards. Plus, don’t forget there are still some special guests to meet inside the National Motor Museum who are making a pit stop for a limited time only!

Start your day off in National Motor Museum, home to decades of motoring history. Meet the friendly Mechanic outside Jack Tucker’s garage and learn what their life was like in the 1930s as you get hands-on to help tackle some everyday mechanical jobs. Complete the task successfully and collect your first character card. While inside the museum, don’t miss the chance to see some of the world’s most loved stars from the Disney and Pixar Cars franchise, who are making a pit stop until 12 April. See Disney and Pixar Cars Lightning McQueen, Jackson Storm and Finn McMissile as they stop by to meet fans of the racers and Radiator Springs residents face to face.

For more hands-on fun, visitors can head through the garage doors to visit Beaulieu’s popular interactive car experience, We Had One of Those! The whole family can take a seat inside vehicles from different eras and compare classic designs with modern features you may still see today. Kids will be challenged to spot the differences between the cars and will be rewarded with another card for their collection.

Don’t forget you have unlimited rides on the ‘sky train’ during a visit to Beaulieu. See sweeping views of the Beaulieu attraction from above on the Monorail, before going right through the roof of the National Motor Museum! Speak to the driver to find out if it is Monty or Mary you are riding in to gain another collectable card. Or for those that would rather travel on four wheels, hop aboard the replica 1912 open-topped London Bus just outside the National Motor Museum for a nostalgic ride towards Palace House. Before you set off, meet the bus driver, learn about his important role, and collect your bus ticket and character card as part of the activity trail.

As you arrive at Palace House, admire the charm and elegance of this beautiful Victorian country house, which is the ancestral home of the Montagu family. Be greeted by friendly costumed staff who can tell you about the family treasures, portraits, memorabilia and rich history filling the walls. Make your way to the grand Victorian kitchen to meet the Montagu family’s cook and ask her what is on the menu for today’s dinner. Try out some of the curious 19th century kitchen gadgets before collecting a card from her.

The final card to complete the collection is located in the atmospheric ruins of Beaulieu Abbey. Explore the beautifully preserved ruins of the magnificent building that once stood here and discover the story of the medieval Cistercian monks who lived there. Then, try your hand as a stonemason as you test your skills and rebuild your very own Beaulieu arch. Those who rise to the challenge will earn the chance to complete the Beaulieu card challenge.
And there’s still plenty more to see! Kids will love letting off steam in their adventure play area, Little Beaulieu. Get hands-on with crazy contraptions and quirky slides. This fantasy play area, modelled on Palace House is filled with fantastic features, including a treetop boardwalk and rope maze room, as well as a zipwire and an epic climbing wall.

There’s always so much to see and do during a day out at Beaulieu, so make the most of it by utilising their Return for Free offer, allowing visitors and their original guests to return for free for up to six days after their first visit.
