Get your SatNav set for Beaulieu’s Simply Smart as leading independent location technology specialist TomTom is announced as the new sponsor of the fun-sized Smart car rally.
The lastest Smart cars are fitted with TomTom devices, which is why the company is offering all Simply Smart participants one month’s free subscription to TomTom traffic data* when the rally returns to the grounds of the National Motor Museum on Remembrance Sunday November 10th.
Beaulieu Events Manager Judith Maddox said: “We are delighted to welcome TomTom on board for the ninth Simply Smart. With their strong ties to Smart, the company is a perfect fit as the rally sponsor. By offering such a special free gift for all rally participants, owners of
these much-loved cars will be delighted.”
The final rally of Beaulieu’s 2019 Simply season, Simply Smart is a favourite for fans of this cheeky and cheerful urban classic. From the ForTwo that kick-started the brand to open-top Cabrio and Crossblade variants, owners of all Smart models are welcome to join the display. Examples of the sporty Smart Roadster and family-friendly ForFour are also expected to join the line-up.
The owner of the most popular Smart car will be chosen by show-goers to receive the People’s Choice Award and awarded with a Beaulieu trophy and Autoglym prize.
Simply Smart is traditionally held on Remembrance Sunday and a two-minute silence will be held at 11am, in which visitors are invited to take part.
Event tickets include entry to all of the Beaulieu attraction. For those driving Smart cars into Beaulieu to take part in the show, participant tickets are £10 an adult, £5 a child (aged 5-16) if bought in advance online before 5pm on November 7th, or £12 an adult and £6 a child if bought later or on arrival. Entry is from 9am until 3pm for rally participants, when the Brabazon Restaurant will be serving hot drinks and breakfast snacks. All other visitors should enter Beaulieu though Visitor Reception from 10am.
