Learn about life as a country mechanic outside Jack Tucker’s 1930s garage in the National Motor Museum. Put on some overalls, don your flat cap and test out your skills with plenty of bolts, nuts and artefacts to tinker with!
While you’re in the museum, don’t forget to visit our special exhibition to celebrate 60 years of Doctor Who! Want to become your favourite Doctor? Dress up and snap a picture in front of the Daleks or even the TARDIS!
Then, step back in time in Palace House, the historic home of the Montagu family. Meet Victorian house staff who will bid you a friendly welcome, and learn about fascinating 19th Century gadgets, still used by the house staff today! Get whisking alongside the busy Kitchen Maid and discover more about many unusual artefacts.
Just next door in the Secret Army Exhibition, put your problem-solving skills into practice as you decipher Morse Code and other secret communication techniques. Learn about the extraordinary Special Operations Executive agents that trained on the Beaulieu Estate during World War II, and see a new special display curated by Lady Montagu.
Our exciting adventure play area, Little Beaulieu, is open and ready to welcome kids back for 2024! Let imaginations run wild as you clamber across the epic climbing wall, navigate the tricky rope maze room, and share secrets down the fun funnel speaker.
Get your steps up and enjoy a calm family winter walk through our wonderful grounds and gardens. On your way around the site, don’t miss Beaulieu Abbey where you can try your hand as a Stone Mason as you test your skills and rebuild your very own arch!
Don’t forget that during your visit you can have unlimited rides on our famous Monorail, which is celebrating it’s 50th anniversary at Beaulieu this year! There’s no better time to see sweeping views of the grounds and gardens from above and travel right through the roof of the National Motor Museum!
