For the chance to admire a unique range of vehicles and enjoy some great entertainment, Beaulieu’s Custom and American Show is the place to be this Father’s Day (16th June).

There’s something for everyone to enjoy at one of the most highly-anticipated shows on Beaulieu’s events calendar, from an impressive range of cars and bikes in the showground to live music and entertainment as well as the whole of the Beaulieu attraction to explore.

Held in association with the Solent Renegades club, this year’s Custom and American Show is set to be bigger and better than ever, with even more American motors, vibrant custom cars and awesome bikes and trikes plus a variety of musical performances and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy. Visitors can expect a stellar line-up of large, loud and lively machines that are sure to gather a crowd.

Most exciting of all, this event showcases some of the most individual designs of the motoring world – showgoers won’t know which creation to admire first! Filling the showground will be everything from outrageously modified custom classics and hot rods to powerful American muscle cars and sedans.

Custom car builder extraordinaire and longstanding Custom and American Show ambassador, Andy Saunders, will be returning with two examples of his mind-blowing creations, Deja, a stunning Deco-style roadster, and Sundancer, a highly detailed ‘70s-style lowrider. As one of the most celebrated car artists, Andy will certainly be an inspirational presence at the show and there will be an opportunity for those who would like to learn more about car design to purchase his autobiography, The Automotive Alchemist.

American car fans will be delighted to know that Show Partner, Solent Renegades, will once again display a shining selection of their members’ treasured vehicles, offering admirers the chance to chat to the owners. Classic American magazine will also be returning to hold a heat for its Car of the Year competition, a contest that’s open to unmodified American cars from any era. A collection of Feature Cars will be on display including American trucks and American cop cars from South Coast Cop Cars.

Anybody driving their prized custom or American car into Beaulieu will be in with the chance of winning one of several awards taking place throughout the day. Visitors can vote for their favourite motor in the People’s Best in Show, while The Solent Renegades’ Choice award will be presented to the entry that impresses the clubs’ members most of all and finally The Andy Saunders Award will be selected by the Show Ambassador himself for the most imaginative custom on show. Winners will receive a trophy as well as a fantastic prize from show sponsor Spitfire Collection.

There will be a special display of replica film and TV cars and some big names are already confirmed as attending, including a striking yellow Chevrolet Camaro featured in the Transformers movie franchise, the infamous Ecto-1 Cadillac from Ghostbusters and the 1993 Jeep Wrangler from Jurassic Park. Do you own a customised or American vehicle like one used in a film or television show? Get in touch with the Beaulieu Events team at events@beaulieu.co.uk to get involved in the show.

As always, there are some fantastic musical acts lined up for the Custom and American Show. Showgoers can enjoy the sounds of close harmony trio The BlueBirds, the familiar hip-swivelling rock’n’roll anthems of Craig Jefferson’s Elvis tribute act and the toe-tapping country tunes of Route 66. If that wasn’t enough, daring cowboys and cowgirls will be able to take on a Rodeo Bull to really get in the country spirit! Why not enter your dad in the special Father’s Day show prize draw with a hamper of great Beaulieu prizes up for grabs – details of how to take part will be announced on the day.
