Beaulieu has been hailed as one of the country’s leading visitor attractions, winning a VisitEngland gold accolade for the quality experience it offers to visitors.

The Beaulieu attraction, which features the National Motor Museum, Montagu family home Palace House and the 13th century Beaulieu Abbey, was given top marks for its warm welcome to visitors, the presentation of its collections, story-telling, restaurant quality and going the extra mile to create an enjoyable and memorable day out.

The gold accolade was awarded to Beaulieu as an all-round top-scoring attraction after its most recent VisitEngland Visitor Attraction Quality Scheme assessment.

Beaulieu Commercial Director Stephen Munn said: “This is the third year running that VisitEngland has awarded Beaulieu with a gold accolade and we are proud to continue delivering the best experience for our visitors. Maintaining the highest possible standards is important to both Beaulieu and to the New Forest.”

VisitEngland Senior Quality Schemes Executive Vicky Howell said: “This accolade is testament to the high standards achieved, which the assessor felt were truly deserving of recognition.”

The gold accolade is assessed annually by VisitEngland and is only awarded to top-scoring attractions where visitors can expect a truly memorable experience. Beaulieu was evaluated for categories including its Welcome, Hidden Gem, Best Told Story and Quality Food & Drink.

Admission to Beaulieu includes entry to the National Motor Museum and its collection of more than 250 vehicles, the World of Top Gear, On Screen Cars, Beaulieu Abbey, Palace House and its stunning grounds and gardens. Tickets can be bought in advance online, click here for more information.
