Hands-on half-term at Beaulieu this February

the Mechanic

Pop down to Jack Tucker’s Garage in the National Motor Museum. The garage is a treasure-trove of motoring history so pull on some overalls, don your flat cap and learn about life as a country mechanic, where there’s plenty of bolts, nuts and artefacts to tinker with!

Meet the Victorian cook in Palace House at Beaulieu

Meet Lord Montagu’s cook in Palace House and try out some of the curious kitchen gadgets they still use to this day. Ask her what she is preparing and what’s on the menu for Lord Montagu’s dinner tonight, and collect your card from the staff member in the kitchen!

Meet the bus driver at Beaulieu this half-term

Hop on our replica 1912 London Bus for a nostalgic ride around the attraction. Chat to the bus driver about his important job, and make sure you collect your bus ticket and character card!

Visit our interactive car experience exhibition We Had One of Those! Sit in vehicles from different eras and spot the difference between old and new cars, then make sure you collect your special vehicle card.

Lightning McQueen in the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu

Some very special guests are making a pit stop at the National Motor Museum as Lightning McQueen, Jackson Storm and Finn McMissile are still with us for a limited time stay! It’s the perfect opportunity for families to meet these fan-favourite racers and Radiator Springs residents as they take a break from the track and world adventures to meet fans face to face. This is your chance to meet the life size models of Disney and Pixar Cars until the 12th April.

Little Beaulieu is the place to get hands-on with crazy contraptions and let imaginations run wild! As part of this enchanting play area, peer through the telescope, call down through the fun funnel speaker, and play a tune on the melodic xylophone chimes.

A romantic day out

Get your steps up with a family stroll around our wonderful grounds and gardens. Or enjoy a romantic valentines day out by bringing an engraved lock to ‘lock-in’ your love forever on Beaulieu’s Love Lock Tree, nestled within the picturesque Victorian Flower Garden.

Don’t forget, you can have unlimited rides on the Monorail this February half term! See sweeping views of the Beaulieu attraction from above before going right through the roof of the National Motor Museum! Is it Monty or Mary you are riding in today? Speak to the driver to find out and gain another collectable card.
