FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

Can I turn up and pay on the day?

We advise all participants to pre-book their tickets online to speed up arrivals. Tickets will be available to purchase online until 2pm on the day of the event when admission closes. We will have the facility to take payments on the day. Please note tickets are per person (not per motorbike) and tickets must be purchased covering all persons arriving under a booking.

Don’t forget that by booking advance you will be entered into a prize draw to win a prize. All advance bookings made by 2pm on Friday 5th July will automatically be entered into the prize draw.

I haven’t received an attachment with my email after purchasing my participant tickets.

You will not receive a pdf attachment with your email as your tickets are included in the email sent to you. If you “download all pictures” within the email then you will see your unique barcode which will be scanned upon arrival. However, if you have any trouble viewing this barcode, then please make a note of your booking reference number which can be used on the day instead.

My motorbike has broken down/I no longer own a motorbike but I would still like to visit.

If your motorbike has broken down or you have since sold your motorbike but you would still like to visit, then you are able to pay an upgrade fee on the day in our Visitor Reception. As participant tickets are only valid if arriving on a motorbike there is an upgrade fee required, which will be the difference between your participant ticket and the advanced general admission ticket price. Please bring your participant tickets with you on the day. Parking will be in the visitor car parks. Tickets are otherwise non-refundable and non-transferable as per our Terms & Conditions of sale, see www.beaulieu.co.uk/terms-conditions

What happens if I can no longer attend the event?

All tickets purchased for the event are non-transferable and non-refundable as per our Terms and Conditions of sale, see www.beaulieu.co.uk/terms-conditions

Will the event still go ahead in bad weather?

Yes, unless stated otherwise on the website, the event will take place in all weather conditions. There are plenty of indoor spaces to explore on the day!

Can I buy an extra ticket on the day for a pillion passenger?

Yes, tickets will remain on sale online on the day of the event and additional tickets can be purchased online until admission closes at 2pm.

Do I need to print my ticket?

All participants will have their ticket scanned on arrival. This can be printed to speed up arrival or can be shown on a mobile phone or tablet. Please ensure you have downloaded your ticket in advance of arriving at Beaulieu in case of network connection issues on arrival.

What time can I arrive?

Arrival on your motorbike is from 9.30am. Please do not arrive prior to the arrival time as no facilities will be open. Arrivals for participants are up until 2pm.

What time can I leave?

Motorbikes are able to leave at any point during the day, but please note that once you leave, you will not be able to re-enter the event and attraction. Your tickets include entry to the entire Beaulieu attraction, from opening at 10am until closing. Our awards will take place at 2.30pm and we recommend remaining until after this time in case you have been selected as one of the top three motorbikes of the day. Please note: we kindly ask for motorbikes not to leave during peak arrival time, as multiple entry lanes may be in operation.

Does my motorbike qualify?

If it’s a motorbike then it’s very welcome to attend - we are welcoming motorbikes from all marques, all models and all ages! Scooters and trikes will also be welcome to attend.

Can I book a club stand?

Yes, we will be taking club stand bookings to allow clubs to park together. Please email events@beaulieu.co.uk with details of the your club stand including club name, club contact, email, telephone and number of motorbikes expected (minimum of 15 to book a club stand). Club information is sent out to the club organiser within 2 weeks of event. Please note, club spaces are only reserved until 10.30am, after which the area will be used for general motorbike participant parking.

Can I use my Gift Aid pass?

The annual Gift Aid pass is valid only through Visitor Reception and gives you free access to the National Motor Museum only. Should you wish to use your Gift Aid pass and see the rest of the attraction and the event, you will need to enter through Visitor Reception and upgrade your visit to full admission. If you would like to enter as a participant on a motorcycle, you will need to purchase participant tickets. The Gift Aid annual pass is not valid as a participant entry.

Are there any discount or complimentary entry schemes?

Passes or discount schemes such as the British Motorcycle Charitable Passes or Blue Light Card passes are not valid on participant tickets. The participant tickets are already discounted from the general admission tickets and no further discount is applicable.

Will we be able to buy food and drink onsite?

You will be able to purchase food and drink from an outdoor catering unit as well as the onsite Brabazon restaurant.

Can we bring our own picnic?

You are very welcome to bring your own picnic to enjoy during your visit. A number of picnic benches will be dotted around for your use, or you can bring a picnic blanket and find a shady spot to relax. We ask that you do not use any form of BBQ and dispose of your rubbish in a bin.

Will I have access to the Beaulieu attraction?

Yes, your participant ticket includes entry to the Beaulieu attraction.

Where will I be parked?

There is limited hard standing space available and we cannot guarantee where you will be parked on the day. The majority of the attraction grounds is grass and as such it is likely that parking of your motorbike will be on grass – wooden blocks will be available as stands but please feel free to bring your own.

Will tickets sell out?

Beaulieu Bikers’ Day is due to go ahead without capacity limits in place, as such tickets should not sell out. We do suggest that you pre-book your ticket online in advance to help speed up your arrival and to enter the advance ticket prize draw.

When do tickets go off sale?

Tickets go off sale at 2pm on the day of the event, when participant admission closes.

Can I use my Friends of the National Motor Museum Pass?

Yes, pass holders can pre-order tickets online. Please make sure you also bring your membership card with you on the day with your tickets. The usual allowance of tickets applies to NMMT passes.

Can I use my B100 pass?

Yes, B100 pass holders can pre-order tickets online. Please make sure you also bring your membership card with you on the day with your tickets. The usual allowance of tickets applies to B100 passes.

Are the toilet facilities open?

We will have our toilets open for visitors, which are located both beneath the Brabazon Restaurant and near to the Abbey Domus. Our parkland toilets will also be open.

What will happen if the event is cancelled?

If the Beaulieu Bikers’ Day cannot go ahead, we will contact all ticket holders to let them know and advise on the next steps we will take with their booking.
