The third Beaulieu ‘Simply Classics’ event takes place on Sunday 25 August and promises to be a great day out for all motoring enthusiasts.
With hundreds of vehicles on display, owners of classic vehicles dated pre 1988 are invited to bring their car to Beaulieu and park within the museum complex.
All owners taking part will be entered into the People’s Choice Award, with the winner receiving a Beaulieu trophy. The winner will be selected by a public vote.
To enter the car you think should win, simply fill out a form which will be available from Visitor Reception on the day. This will take place at approximately 2.45 on the day of the event.
This year, the cavalcade has been extended to give you an even better view of these impressive vehicles driving around the Beaulieu grounds.
Concours
Owners are also invited to apply to take part in the concours competition. Entry forms will be available nearer the event.
Best Car and Costume
New for 2013 is a ‘best car and costume’ competition, dress in the same era as your car for example, tweed suit with your classic British car or your bell-bottom jeans and tie-dyed t-shirt with your 70s mini. The lucky winner of the competition will receive a Fortnum & Mason’s Hamper.
Vehicle Entry
Entry into the Beaulieu Parkland with your classic vehicle is from 9.30am – the Brabazon Restaurant will be open for bacon rolls, cakes, teas and coffee.
Please note that if you wish to park alongside your friends, or fellow club members, you must arrive together as there will be no designated areas available.
