The new Victorian Kitchen range is under construction and over 300 windows are being cleaned!

Building The Range

Work is underway to finish the flues and brickwork on the Victorian Kitchen range before the Easter holidays, and the bread oven is being installed to the right of the new range.

We are also creating a replica dresser, which our skilled craftsman is recreating based upon details from a single photograph. Construction is well underway and the dresser is currently having its first coat of paint applied.

Spring Cleaning

It is still spring cleaning time at Palace House and one of the biggest jobs is to clean every window. This is the job of Steve and his wife from L&M services, who patiently clean and shine over 300 windows! We thank them for all their hard work in making the house even more beautiful for the visitors.
