Get into the Christmas spirit at Beaulieu this festive period, with opportunities galore to come together with friends and family and celebrate the season together, including the Beaulieu Festive Fayre, Christmas trees, beautiful decorations and festivities in Palace House, and outdoor promenade performances of the Snow Queen.

From 9th to 11th December, join in the festive fun with the Beaulieu Festive Fayre. Bringing together a selection of the UK’s finest artisan creators and local food producers, this fantastic Christmas day out will be the perfect way to get ready for the big day, with the opportunity to discover, taste and shop your way around more than 70 stands, to a soundtrack of festive tunes. What better way to get into the Christmas spirit! Click here for ticket options and more information.

Then across the Christmas period, from 17th December to 2nd January*, experience the magic of Christmas past as you step into Palace House, the historic home of the Montagu family, and see how this special time was celebrated during the Victorian era.

Meet costumed characters playing servants and Montagu family members from 1899, as they busily prepare for the big day, with family Christmas pantomime rehearsals to watch, and maybe even join in with. While in every room, admire glittering Christmas trees festooned with eye-catching traditional decorations, with a towering 20ft-tall tree as the impressive centrepiece in the main hall.

The festive fun continues with Little Beaulieu, a wonderful play area dressed in seasonal sparkle for the Christmas holidays. Accessible in all weathers, it is the perfect place for kids to wear themselves out, while parents can enjoy a cup of hot chocolate or even a mince pie in the family-friendly outdoor seating area.

Make sure to stop at the National Motor Museum and see The Story of Motoring in 50 Objects, gathering together the most historically important vehicles, motoring artefacts, film footage, images, documents and books from more than 1.7 million items in the museum’s collections.

All of the above Christmas holiday activities are included in the Beaulieu admission ticket, which also includes World of Top Gear, On Screen Cars, the Secret Army Exhibition, Beaulieu Abbey and its grounds and gardens. To book your tickets, click here.

And if that’s not enough, let the Christmas magic take you further, with open-air performances of Hans Christian Andersen’s The Snow Queen in the ruins of Beaulieu Abbey, on selected dates from 17th December to 2nd January. The London Touring Players are returning with this new production featuring actors from London’s West End, as well as live music and atmospheric lighting, this wintery tale of adventure, love and redemption is sure to warm everyone’s hearts. Separate tickets for the performances will be available to purchase soon from beaulieu.co.uk/events.

While on Saturday 3rd December, all the family will enjoy a great workout with the Festive 3K Dash in support of Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance. So grab your tinsel, Santa hats and reindeer antlers to help raise money for this great cause, by taking part in this festive fancy dress fun-run in the Beaulieu grounds, at 9am.
