Shaun Gagg, a sculptor from Wombwell, Yorkshire, transforms everyday objects into extraordinary art. Born in 1969, he initially worked with slate and sandstone, inspired by Salvador Dalí, Barbara Hepworth, and Henry Moore. His early creations in the Peak District often included intricate land art and balanced rock sculptures.

When health challenges arose, Shaun transitioned to metalworking, unlocking new creative possibilities. Coins, nails, keys, and other materials became the foundation of his innovative sculptures, showcasing his technical skill and imagination. His work ranges from abstract forms to lifelike figures and animals, earning admiration in galleries and exhibitions.

Shaun’s pieces invite viewers to see beauty in the mundane and potential in overlooked objects. Constantly pushing creative boundaries, he crafts art that transforms everyday materials into captivating sculptures.
