Angela Farquharson has been a professional sculptor since 2000, following her graduation from Wolverhampton University with a first-class honours degree in Ceramics and Three-Dimensional Design.
Since then, she has exhibited widely with galleries across the UK and participated in numerous outdoor sculpture exhibitions. For several years, she was also a regular exhibitor at the prestigious RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
Angela’s work is held in private collections throughout the UK, Europe, Canada, and the United States. Her artistic practice has long been inspired by the female form. While she began her career specialising in small ceramic sculptures, her work has evolved significantly in both medium and scale. She now creates much of her garden sculpture using resin and steel, and also produces work cast in bronze. In addition, she has developed an innovative method for combining ceramics and resin in her pieces.
Among her most recent works is a striking series of four life-size female heads, each a unique, one-off sculpture.
