With a background in graphics and craft teaching Adrian has a long track record working with line and form.
He explores the subtle relationship between these in all the ceramics he makes, seeking to produce elegant and timeless pieces, with a balance of delicacy and refinement combined with the robustness and solidity of stoneware.
The sheer brutality of high-firing the clay and the changes it brings about in both the material and the finished pieces are for him a central part of the process, allowing each piece to take on a life of its own once it has left the maker’s hands.
