Going Green

Beaulieu is located in the New Forest National Park, an area renowned for its beautiful and natural surroundings. In order to preserve them, we are making it a priority to implement steps to reduce the impact of our business on the local environment wherever possible, without affecting the quality of your day out. We don’t claim to be perfect, we know we still have a long way to go and have working groups constantly looking at ways we can further reduce our impact.

We have already put several measures in place which we are improving on all the time, examples of which include:
• Using paper from sustainable resources.
• Wherever possible, sourcing supplies and services from local companies and producers.
• Increasing the use of recyclable packaging in our catering outlets.
• An ongoing programme of low energy lighting installation.
• An extensive tree planting programme across the wider Beaulieu Estate.

We care about our environment, both locally and globally. If you have any suggestions on how we can further invest in the protection of our environment for future generations, please do not hesitate to let us know your ideas at environment@beaulieu.co.uk.

Electric Car Charging Post

Thanks to generous funding from the Sustainable Transport Solutions Fund we have three electric car charging posts available for visitors to use free of charge.

The charging posts are located close to the entrance of the coach park and enable six cars to be charged simultaneously. The majority of the posts have a faster-charging 7-pin connection, however one is also fitted with a 13amp, 3-pin connection (a normal plug). Visitors can use their own cards to access the points or you may borrow a card from Visitor Reception (for a returnable deposit). Please telephone 01590 612345 for more details.
