Collections Manager

ORGANISATION: Collections Centre – The National Motor Museum Trust

LOCATION: Beaulieu, Hampshire, SO42 7ZN

TYPE: Full Time (37.5 hours per week)

The Collections Manager will support the Director of Collections in the strategic development, planning and management of the collections and the organisation. They will contribute to organisational initiatives and developments. This position will have primary responsibility for coordinating, implementing and developing information management systems, ensuring policies and plans are maintained and adhered to in accordance with recognised standards.

You will have a degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline, and ideally a postgraduate qualification in Museum Studies or a related field.
You should have demonstrable experience of data management and automated systems in a museum, archival or library environment, along with proven experience of working with collections and collections management systems.
