Experienced Payroller

We are looking for an experienced payroller to take responsibility for our monthly payrolls. The role involves all aspects of processing the pay of up to 300 staff.

You should have a good knowledge of both computerised and manual payroll systems and be fully conversant with SSP, SMP, PAYE, NI, RTI and Auto-enrolment. Applicants should be computer literate with a working knowledge of Excel. Experience of Sage 50 Payroll is desirable as is general accounting knowledge. The ability to work on your own initiative is essential as well as being a good team player.

Part Time Archivist, National Motor Museum Trust

22.5 hours per week
£20,400 per annum pro rata
Fixed term contract to 6th January 2016

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the National Motor Museum team, and to work with our designated Archive Collection. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to build on a recently completed collection audit, by identifying and creating top level descriptions for previously unprocessed collections for export to Archives Hub or similar. Other important aspects of the role will include adding to the existing catalogue, managing volunteer work, and improving collections care.

The Candidate

You will have a post-graduate qualification in Archives and Records Management, and ideally experience of using Archives Hub (or similar). You should have worked with cataloguing systems and be familiar with ISAD(G), NCA Rules, etc. Experience of CALM would be desirable. You will have preservation skills/experience and previous exposure of working within a museum. An interest in motoring heritage/history is not necessary but would be a definite advantage.
