The historic Beaulieu Estate requires an enthusiastic full-time Estate Surveyor to support the Resident Agent.
Situated within the New Forest National Park and bordering the Solent, the estate comprises approximately 7,000 acres incorporating 127 residential lets, 5 let farms and a variety of commercial leases, along with almost 2,000 acres of commercially managed in-hand woodland and a nature reserve. The Estate team are also responsible for the building and grounds maintenance of two visitor attractions, coastal sea defences and landscape infrastructure.
Whilst this role involves all aspects of estate management. There will be a strong emphasis on the agricultural portfolio, stewardship schemes for the estate and opportunities for natural capital projects as well as working with the visitor attraction to improve their sustainability.
The successful applicant will have experience in Estate Management, either on an estate or within a firm. They will ideally hold a degree in Estate Management or something similar and be RICS qualified. Experience of stewardship schemes, agricultural, residential and commercial tenancies and knowledge of tenancy law will be essential. Furthermore, the candidate will have good interpersonal skills, be enthusiastic and committed and able to work well with colleagues in the Estate team and visitor attractions. You must hold a clean Driving Licence.
