Montagu panto rehearsals for Victorian Christmas

Montagu family pantomime rehearsals will be part of Beaulieu’s Victorian Christmas celebrations bringing the ancestral home of Palace House to life for the festive season from December 22nd - January 6th.

Daytime visitors can join the Montagu family, played by costumed actors, as they rehearse Aladdin and prepare for Christmas and New Year festivities in 1889.

Feel the warm glow of carols and punch by a roaring log fire, see traditional decorations and towering Christmas trees in every room of Palace house. You won’t be able to miss the 22ft tree standing at the foot of the main staircase.

Youngsters can also join in with craft activities to make Christmas cards or sparkling tree decorations, then dress up in period-perfect accessories for a selfie opportunity.
