Major line-up of Minors at Beaulieu’s Spring Autojumble

A unique display of family favourites will be on show with more than 160 Morris Minors and contemporary classics from MoggyFest and Friends at the popular Beaulieu Spring Autojumble on May 13th and 14th.

A best-seller when new and still a firm favourite with scores of motoring enthusiasts, the Morris Minor will be represented in all of its many guises in the vibrant line-up, created by the Dorset branch of the Morris Minor Owners’ Club.

Several split-screen Minor Series II Travellers – one of the rarest moggies – will be on show, as well as a fully-restored Minor police panda car. Joining them will be one of just 350 lilac-coloured Minor Millions ever built, rebuilt to flawless Grand Masters competition-winning perfection.

Completing the MoggyFest display will be a selection of friends, British classics dating from the 1930s to the 1970s and including Austin A30s and A35s, a Daimler SP250 Dart sports car and a rare wartime Morris Tilly utility vehicle to send show-goers on a trip down memory lane.

Continuing the British classics theme will be Land Rover Rummage on Sunday 14th, offering spares and accessories for the nation’s favourite 4x4 in its own specially dedicated trading field. A must for any Land Rover owner, Land Rover Rummage will bring together an impressive selection from panels and seats to engines, wheels, transmissions and service items for those tackling major restoration projects or keeping their trusty vehicles on the road.

Beaulieu’s Spring Autojumble is an unmissable date on the motoring calendar where bargain hunters will find more than 1,000 stands laden with motoring miscellany in the event fields, including all manner of parts for classics, automobilia, motoring literature and model cars. Recapturing the joys of camping in bygone days, the Retro Caravan Club will showcase its members’ perfectly preserved classic caravans, complete with period-perfect fittings, camping gear and even matching classic tow cars.

The Classic Hearse Register will celebrate a different kind of nostalgia with a superb selection of hearses from bygone eras. From understated British-built classics to elaborate American examples, these impressive but often overlooked vehicles are sure to turn visitors’ heads. Show regular the Wessex Car Club will also return with a diverse display of its members’ vehicles Event sponsor Ringwood Brewery will serve a wide range of special beers at their bar in the catering marquee. While the staff of Practical Classics magazine, the event’s media sponsor, will be chatting with visitors as they come to the end of a massive classic car road trip. With up to 100 classic vehicles offered for sale, Automart in the Beaulieu Events Arena is the place for would-be owners to browse and inspect all manner of tempting machines. For even greater variety, Dealermart traders offer a first-class selection of classics for sale.

Trunk Traders is a highlight on Sunday 14th, as jumblers sell the contents of their sheds, lofts and garages from their car boots.

Beaulieu Spring Autojumble For an end-of-show bargain, don’t miss the Walkabout Auction on Sunday afternoon with guest auctioneer Practical Classics Editor Danny Hopkins. This favourite feature gives exhibitors the opportunity to find homes for unsold stock, with no auction fees to pay. Just £1 buys a box lot (larger items can go alongside).

Spring Autojumble event tickets give access to all of the Beaulieu attraction, including the National Motor Museum and its collection of more than 250 vehicles, the World of Top Gear, On Screen Cars, the 13th century Beaulieu Abbey, Palace House – which has been home to the Montagu family since 1538 – and its stunning grounds and gardens.
