THE NEW FOREST
The New Forest offers an escape to a world a million miles from everyday life, where ponies, cattle, donkeys and deer still roam free.
Established in 1079 as a hunting ground for William the Conqueror the Forest remains an attractive and peaceful haven for a variety of flora and fauna, home to idyllic glades, ancient woodland, open moors, heathland and even coastal cliff tops.
Alongside Beaulieu and its sister attraction Buckler’s Hard, there are a number of other places to visit, including public gardens, museums, visitor attractions, wildlife parks and more.
