Follow Boxtree Productions down the rabbit hole into a strange world of caterpillars, cards and tea parties.
Join Alice as she tries to navigate this curious world of curiouser creatures but don't lose your head! We promise you a wonderful experience of original toe-tapping songs, colourful characters, costumes and hilarious comedy.
With inventive staging, original songs and magical storytelling we invite audiences to enjoy Lewis Carroll’s classic tale of Alice In Wonderland, in Boxtree Production's unique and energetic performance!
This live performance is open-air so please bring a picnic and blanket or low-backed chair and dress for the great British weather.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do we visit the Beaulieu attraction before the performance?
You are welcome to visit the attraction before your performance and enjoy all of the Beaulieu attractions including the National Motor Museum, Palace House, Little Beaulieu and also “Sculpture at Beaulieu” exhibition running from 19th June-30th August by purchasing attraction tickets via the website.
Is the performance suitable for children?
Yes – Alice in Wonderland is a popular classic tale suitable for all ages.
How long is the performance?
The performance will last approximately 2 hours including a 20 minute interval.
Is the performance area suitable for mobility scooters, wheelchairs and pushchairs?
Due to the performance being located outdoors, there are some accessibility challenges, but we will be able to accommodate these, please contact us before the performance via firstname.lastname@example.org with details of any accessibility requirements.
Can I add additional tickets to my original booking?
If more members of your household bubble wish to join you for the performance, you can purchase additional tickets. If you purchase using the same name as your original booking, the team will match your bookings to form one socially distanced bubble.
Can I book my tickets over the telephone?
All ticket sales are via the website to help us manage capacity and audience information.
Will any seating be available or can I bring my own seat?
You are welcome to bring your own seating from picnic rugs/blankets to low backed picnic chairs. No seating will be provided. We do ask that you do not bring picnic tables due to space limitations or seating that will obscure the view for other visitors.
Will the performance go ahead if it’s raining?
The performance is open-air and will go ahead regardless of the weather, unless such weather proves to be too hazardous. We do recommend that you dress appropriately for the potential inclement British weather! If bringing umbrellas, these will need to come down for when the performance starts. If it is raining and the rain becomes too heavy during the performance, it will be paused in hopes that the weather improves. If the weather becomes dangerous (i.e. high winds or lightning), the performance will stop until such time as conditions improve.
Will there be anywhere to buy refreshments before the performance starts?
This will be confirmed prior to the performance. You are of course welcome to bring your own food and drink to enjoy before and during the performance.
Will there be toilet facilities available?
Yes, there are both ladies, gents and a unisex accessible toilet available which will be open for the duration of the performances.
As the performance is outdoors, can I bring my dog?
Please do not bring dogs to the performance for the safety of both the audience and performers..
Can I use my Beaulieu annual pass to attend the show?
This is a separately charged for event and is therefore not covered by the Beaulieu annual pass. We hope that you will still consider attending and supporting the performance.
I am a Friend of the National Motor Museum, is attendance of this show included in my membership?
This is a separately charged for event and is therefore not covered by the Friends of the National Motor Museum Trust membership. We hope that you will still consider attending and supporting the performance.
I am a Beaulieu 100 member, is attendance of this show included in my membership?
This is a separately charged for event and is therefore not covered by your Beaulieu 100 membership. We hope that you will still consider attending and supporting the performance.
Does my Beaulieu resident pass gain me entry to this show?
This is a separately charged for event and is therefore not covered by the Beaulieu resident pass. We hope that you will still consider attending and supporting the performance.
The performance will go ahead in a COVID-19 secure format based on restrictions in place at the time of the performance. If there are still social distancing measures in place, the audience will be positioned in a socially distanced manner. In such circumstances, the format of the performance may be altered to exclude an interval. Ticket holders will be notified of any performance alterations in advance.
We have tickets for one of the performances, but are no longer able to attend as one of our party has tested positive for COVID-19/we have been told to self-isolate. What can we do?
In these circumstances, with proof of your situation (i.e. positive test confirmation or notification of the requirement to self-isolate) we will arrange for your tickets to be refunded. The requests will be considered on a case by case basis and should be submitted with evidence to email@example.com
