Your privacy is important to us at Beaulieu.  We are committed to ensuring we meet our obligations under the Data Protection Act 1998. The following policy is issued by Beaulieu Enterprises Ltd referred to as “Beaulieu”. What personally identifiable information is collected and why?

When you subscribe to our newsletter from the website we collect the following information:

•Your title and name
• Your email address
• Your location, i.e. Europe, Local, USA, UK, Rest of the World
• Your newsletter preference
• Your permission for us to share your information with third parties   

The collection of this information enables us to maintain and use an up to date mailing list for communicating news about Beaulieu and its events to those that have expressed an interest and permission to do so.

Under the Data Protection Act you have the right to advise us at any time if you no longer wish to receive contact from Beaulieu.

When you purchase tickets online we collect:

• Your title and name
• Your email address
• Your postal address including postcode
• Your telephone number
• Your permission and preference for us contacting you with updates and future event information
• Your payment details, card type, card number, security number, issue number, start and expiry date.  Please note your payment information is encrypted and is not stored by us once your transaction is processed. 
• Your preference regarding the Gift Aid element of your ticket purchase
• Your acceptance of our terms and conditions  

The collection of this information is necessary to enable us to process your online ticket purchase for general admission and event tickets.  We also use this information to communicate with you by email, post or telephone about your ticket purchase.  If you indicate your permission, we will add your information to our mailing list for future updates from www.beaulieu.co.uk according to your stated preferences. 

Do we use cookies and why?

“Cookies” are small text files that are placed on your computer by websites that you visit.  They are widely used in order to make websites work, or work more efficiently, as well as provide information to the owners of the site.

When someone visits www.beaulieu.co.uk and www.beaulieushop.co.uk we collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns.  We do this to find out information such as the number of visitors to the various parts of our website.  We collect this information in a way which does not identify anyone.  We do not make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.  We will not associate any data gathered from this site with any personally identifying information from any sources.  The table below explains the cookies we use and why.

Visitors can opt out of Google Analytics for display advertising and customise Google Display Network adverts using the Google Ads Settings.

DoubleClick

Our online advertising supplier uses the DoubleClick cookie to provide a better user experience and to serve relevant advertisements.   When you visit a website, view an ad, or click an ad we may set a cookie on your browser. Adform

Our online advertising supplier uses Adform tracking to record anonymous interactions and track purchases through our online ticket shop.

YouTube

We embed videos from our official YouTube channel using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. This mode may set cookies on your computer once you click on the YouTube video player, but YouTube will not store personally-identifiable cookie information for playbacks of embedded videos using the privacy-enhanced mode. Website Search Engine

Our website search tool is powered by Google.  When a user enters text into the search tool, the information is sent to Google which then returns the results.

We understand the concerns you may have about giving your personal details over the internet so we are rigorous about our security procedures.  We use up-to-date industry procedures to protect your personal information.  We have appropriate security measures in place in our physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you via our websites.

Your information will be retained by Beaulieu for as long as the purpose for which it was collected continues.  It will then be destroyed although copies may be retained if required to satisfy legal, regulatory or accounting requirements, or to protect us.

Our privacy policy does not cover the links within our site linking to other third party websites.
