We are undertaking a comprehensive re-development of the National Motor Museum, to allow a re-display of the vehicle collection as well as enhancing visitor facilities, particularly for those with special requirements. It will also maximise space for exhibitions and the display of wider motoring archive material, currently housed within the museum’s Collections Centre.
The first phase of the re-development, is the construction of a mezzanine floor to link the first floor of the museum with the current Motorcycle Gallery, creating a whole new display space and much improved access for wheelchairs and pushchairs. We will be updating images of the construction process so please check back to see progress. Click here to watch a video of the museum development.
